- Researchers from UQ’s Queensland Brain Institute (QBI) have revealed the pivotal role played by Synapsin 2a proteins in orchestrating the organisation and mobility of synaptic vesicles within live neurons.
- Dr Rebecca San Gil has mapped out the proteins implicated in MND across the trajectory of the disease, identifying potential therapeutic pathways for further investigation.
- Dr Bonnie Searle led a study in low socio-economic Queensland communities and found that meals provided in early education and childcare centres are not meeting national dietary recommendations.
